Turkeys! What would Thanksgiving be without turkeys? Not as yummy for sure! I debated on posting the image below. I love to photograph ANYTHING that catches my eye, and this turkey did. He was shot this spring, and hopefully it doesn’t make anyone too sad….you can know that this turkey was not confined to a 12×12 inch pen, force fed, and etc. This Tom roamed the woods of New Hampshire and had a very happy and healthy life! There is some sadness that his life ended, but he is truely valued, respected, and honored. There is more to Thanksgiving than turkeys- and of course that is being thankful for all the good in life (including sliced bread). Hope you have a great holiday!
